Perfect Blush for Problem Skin

23 November 2016

Every day, I see and hear from you -- women enjoying my Pixi products. Some are working mums, like I am, who use a few essentials for a quick makeup-to-wakeup look. Some of you lovelies talk about falling in love with our Skintreats line, which changed your skin for the better. With Thanksgiving already here, I’m more than grateful that Pixi is on that journey with you!

Cassandra Bankson has had Pixi by her side throughout her journey with acne. Beautiful Cassandra helps spread an important message that remains one of our core missions with every Pixi product that we make -– our makeup is also good for your skin while naturally enhancing your already beautiful features!

Cassandra walks us through a few of our Pixi Beauty must-haves to find the perfect blush for breakout-prone skin. Watch the video above to learn her fuss-free tips!

Tip 1: If you have problem skin around your cheek area, cream blushes may not be the best for you. However, Cassandra’s safe alternative is our cream-to powder MultiBalm, which includes natural ingredients like Shea Butter and Aloe Vera to soothe skin.

Tip 2: Breakout-prone skin works best with powder blush without shimmer. In the clip above, Cassandra teaches you how to colour-match our blush and contour shades in the Ultimate Beauty Kit to suit your skintone.

Tip 3: Avoid bright red cheek colours, as it picks up on the tones of inflamed skin. Opt for the more neutral shades of our Ultimate Beauty Kit and Palette Rosette.

Tip 4: Make sure you are using the right brush, as some can irritate your skin. All of our makeup brushes are synthetic, which is better for sensitive skin and easier to keep clean.
